Hello there!
I hear from a lot of you that you’ll start something when school gets back in session, or when things slow down at work. I heard from a client on Friday that maybe she should have waited until after her family vacation to start working with me – but she knew that the “good time” to do this would never come.
She, like most of my clients, is a busy, successful, smart women who does a lot. Always.
Life doesn’t let up, it just changes. New project, next trip, and on and on our beautiful lives go, lives we created that I believe we should enjoy.
One way we can enjoy ourselves more is to take better care of ourselves in general. So, for the next month I’m going to talk about self care.
I want you to do a check in, what do you need?
- How long since you’ve done a yoga class or just stretched on your living room floor?
- Do you need a facial or a massage?
- What does taking better care of you look like this week? This month?
- Who are the people you turn to for help in taking care of you and is it time to set up a session with one of them?
- Do you need a referral from a friend who loves their ________ practitioner?
- Are you thirsty?
- Could your book your haircuts and massages out from now through Christmas so it’s taken care of and off your to-do list?
- What would be different about this fall if you did that? Besides not experiencing the bummed out moment and bad holiday hair after you realize your stylist is booked out solid through New Years…
So, take some time to check in and get the right self-care set up for you. Next week we’ll talk more about what you can do for you.
Take good care,
Caryn
