I’m reading James Clears “Atomic Habits” and LOVING the simple descriptions he’s using to say something I’m always trying to say, likely using too many words!

If you want to change who you are, you have to change your IDENTITY.

Think about that identity piece.  It’s HUGE. How often do you say “I’m just someone who…” or “My family, we _____.”  or “I have always been this way.”

We are committing to our futures by talking about our past.

Sometimes that works.

Sometimes it kills progress.

Where are you staying the same just because you’ve always been that way?

Do you like it?

What does the person who easily LIVES the change you want to make think? What do they say to themselves?  What questions do they ask?

I want to hear from you if you’ve read it (or later, when you do) what is shifting? What are you working on?  What would you LOVE to accomplish in Q2 of 2019?

Take care!
