Show Notes

Today’s episode is a fun one! I talk to Jason Shen (a former NCAA gymnast, 3x venture-backed startup founder, and product leader at companies like Facebook, Etsy, and the Smithsonian) about cultivating resilience and playing by your own rules.

Jason says, “resilience is all about how we successfully adapt in the face of change. And, how you can make that change work for you and your situation.” He reminds us to trust our instincts and creatively explore whatever comes next.

He also shares some daily practices to help build resilience. You’ve gotta hear him talk about those… so good!

Other topics covered include:
– How reflecting on the past helps you learn and grow faster
– Why it’s important to be emotionally in-tune (and how we can hold more than one emotion at a time)
– The link between rest and resilience
– Normalizing the sales process, while appreciating the vulnerability and intimacy inherent there
– What true strength looks like (and why it’s not always what you think)

As well as, so much more!

I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did. And, that these insights from Jason help you build and strengthen your resilience.
