I coach coaches. What I hear from a lot of them is that I coach differently than they are used to.
When this comes up for some of them, I know what they are used to is the Life Coach School’s Model – where they find the thought and run “the model,” to find the circumstance, thought, feeling, action, and finally, the result of that thought.
This is a coaching tool. It is not all there is.
You can come at coaching from any angle. With any question. With anything. At any time. From anyone. No matter what.
We humans are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. We don’t need our coaches to be perfect, to coach a certain way all the time, or all the same way. We need them to hold space for our becoming. To be with us where we are, when we are there, and to expect nothing from us other than that.
That’s our job.
I don’t really care how it looks or how you do it – as long as you do it.
When I hear words coming out of clients’ mouths I see models, I hear desires, I see intended and unintended results… I see humans.
That’s all we can do.
See them. Love them.
Do the same for yourself.
