I just went to the special place that holds your email address safe and sound… I went through all of the 374 of your names and something exciting happened.
I realized I know you, like, I really know you!
…and most of you know me – some of you really well (Hi Mom and Dad! You too Tony!). Some of you have employed me, some of you have been mentored or coached by me, some of you just wanted to see what I am up to, and some of you are my actual neighbors… and one thing has become very, very clear.
We are a community.
You are my people!
I want to share a few things with you that I haven’t shared before:
- I believe you are here for a reason – and that doing the work to step fully into that is exactly why you are here on earth.
- I believe that it is an honor and a privilege to get to have a business.
- I believe that business owners have an extra responsibility to show up, for others, for ourselves, for the communities we build and the communities we live in.
- I believe you are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. So am I. So is that person you are thinking of right now, yes, even them.
I am sharing that because I see you.
I see your hard work, your late nights, your dreams, the work you put out. I know you do it all because you can’t not do it.
So today, I want to say thanks.
Thank you for doing your thing – in just your way. We need you to do it as much as you need to do it.
