How deep are the hooks in you?

We have so many stories, obligations, humans, worries, ideas, plans, etc. that are “in” us; that are tapped into our energy bodies and are literally pulling us in all different directions.

I want to offer you a little holiday treat.  

Hook-free living!  

*And, as a former commercial fisherwoman I know a lot about hooks – and I know you DO NOT want them in you.  

So… Here is an exercise to complete when you have a pen, paper, and about 10 minutes.


Hook-Free Living
Ask yourself the following questions. Take your time to get ALL the answers out – in full.

  1. Where do you feel pulled?
  2. Where do you feel pushed?
  3. Where don’t you feel like you can keep up?
  4. Where don’t you feel like you even want to keep up?
  5. Where are you using “should” as a good reason to do something?
  6. Where are you using “shouldn’t” as a good reason not to do something?
  7. Where are you bored with your own story?
  8. Where are you bone-tired?
  9. Why?
  10. What are the top 3 “hooks” in you – that if you were to decide to drop them, you would feel the most relief?
  11. What are the three tiny, annoying hooks you could easily let go of?
  12. What if it were possible to live without all the hooks in you?
  13. What do you think someone who lives without hooks pulling them in all directions does with their spare time?
  14. Is it safe to live without hooks?
  15. Are you willing to drop some hooks? Even, if only for a little while, just to see?
  16. Who would you be without all the hooks?
  17. Do you want to meet that person?

Now, know this…

You have just created HUGE awareness for yourself, simply by being willing to read and answer those questions. You don’t need to do anything else to be changed by this.

If you choose to take action, around any of your above answers, that will amplify the result.
