“So, what DO I eat?!”

This great question came after last weeks post – and right on time. Let’s answer it today:

Eat fat.

It’s the other “f” word.

The most satisfying and calorie dense thing you can ingest.

Are you nervous?

Don’t be.

Though, if you are, I don’t blame you.

We’ve been fat shamed. We’ve shamed fat. We’ve been sold the low-fat belief system and we’re all bigger and hungrier because of it.

In last week’s post I talked about how the body uses (or doesn’t use) the fuel (fat) you have on board. To take that one step further I’m telling you to eat more satisfying fat.

Why? So that you aren’t hungry all day. So that you can go at least 4 hours between meals. So that you don’t need to snack. So that you can be satisfied. So that your body has a chance to burn the fuel you are carrying around on your body.

Try this: Add more healthy, satisfying fat to your meals and see how it shifts your hunger.

*Bonus for the overachievers: Reduce the simple carbohydrates you eat. (Sugar, fruit juices, soda, flour, baked goods.)
